One Piece Episode 1152 truly hits the heart. From Luffy and Emeth’s first-ever interaction to Bonney’s tear-filled rage exploding into that Nika Punch — this episode is pure peak storytelling.
Toei absolutely knocked it out of the park once again. From the very first frame to the final cut, everything felt like absolute cinema. The animation, the direction, the music… it’s the kind of combination that makes even the toughest One Piece fans tear up.
Drawing panels in the manga is one thing — but transforming those still images into raw emotion on screen is a completely different beast. And this episode nailed it.
Honestly, watching it felt like pure bliss.
And with this level of animation, once again Nozomu Shishido proves why he’s currently one of the best action directors in the industry.
Clover’s Final Truth – The Man Who Challenged the World Government

Episode 1152 takes us 26 years into the past, back to Punk Hazard, where a quiet but life-changing conversation unfolded. Clover meets Dr. Vegapunk and desperately asks for help to research the Void Century — not for power, but simply to reveal the truth the world deserves to know. But Vegapunk, still tied to the World Government, refuses immediately.
And then Clover drops the bombshell:
he once watched the Government execute someone… only because his name contained the “D.”
That man wasn’t just a victim — he was Clover’s own older brother. At that time Clover lied to save his life, saying, “He was just my friend.” – But that guilt stayed with him forever.
This episode finally confirms it:
His real name was Clou D. Clover — another lost member of the mysterious D. family.
And he wanted to understand the Void Century because he believed no one should be killed just for the name they carry, Vegapunk still refused to help.
Four years later came the tragedy that shook the world — Ohara was erased by a Buster Call, and only Robin survived. Hearing that news, Vegapunk remembered Clover’s words… and for the first time, he questioned himself:
“Was knowledge worth more than life? Did I make the right choice?”
He realized he had failed Clover — and from that regret, he secretly began studying the Void Century on his own.
Back in the present, during Vegapunk’s global transmission, he says the line that hits Robin straight in the heart: – “History is written by the victors.” Robin remembers her mentor — her family — her Clover… and she simply cannot hold back her tears.
This was a beautiful, painful tribute to one of the greatest scholars in One Piece history.
Atlas’s Selfless Sacrifice – A Robot With a Human Heart

While Zoro, Brook, Nami, Usopp, Chopper and Lilith were cornered atop the Thousand Sunny with Nusjuro blocking every escape route, salvation came from the most unexpected person — Atlas.
She walks in, her voice trembling but determined… and then suddenly punches Lilith unconscious. The crew is shocked, But Atlas just says softly: “Please… take care of her.” She already knew the truth — that the Straw Hats’ escape was impossible unless someone stalled Nusjuro. And she chose to be that someone.
While Sunny prepares its Coup de Burst escape, Atlas stands her ground against an enemy she knows she cannot defeat. Not even close.
But she fights anyway, with every ounce of courage she has. And when the Straw Hats blast into the sky to safety, Atlas smiles and sacrifices herself in an explosion that shakes the entire battlefield.
A robot… who understood humanity better than most humans. Seeing the crew’s reactions — the silence, the shock, the sadness — hits incredibly hard.
Atlas may have been a machine, but in this moment, she had the most human heart on Egghead Island.
Luffy Meets Emeth – The First Connection Between Nika and the Iron Giant

After the Iron Giant’s legendary punch in Episode 1151, Emeth finally resurfaces — battered, ancient, but smiling. The moment he sees Luffy, his entire face lights up.
“I’m happy we got to meet again,” he says… as if he’s greeting an old friend. But our Luffy?
He’s completely confused. He doesn’t understand why this giant keeps calling him Joyboy — but his carefree grin shows exactly who he is:
a boy who doesn’t overthink destiny, he just lives it.
Emeth then gently tells Luffy to keep moving forward while he stays behind to face Topman Warcury and Shepherd Ju Peter. This sets up one of the most wholesome yet heartbreaking moments of the episode — the old Iron Giant trying to launch a punch at Ju Peter.
Franky, Luffy, and even Sanji himself are hyped like little kids watching a tokusatsu hero.
But reality hits: Emeth is too old. His punch doesn’t fully fire.
Still… he stands tall. He holds off two monsters alone, just long enough for Luffy and the others to escape safely.
A 900-year-old warrior still fulfilling the promise he made centuries ago.
One of the most magical details here is the Voice of All Things.
Luffy and Emeth talk freely, but Dorry and Broggy — even with their giant warrior instincts — hear nothing.
Bonney’s Nika Punch – A Daughter Fighting for Her Father’s Freedom

And finally… the moment that broke every One Piece fan.
Saturn moves forward to kill both Bonney and Kuma, and in that instant Bonney’s entire life flashes before her eyes — her childhood, her pain, her helplessness… everything she lost.
And then, for one last time, she transforms into her God Nika form. – This scene was pure cinema.
She pours every wound, every memory, every ounce of suffering into a single punch —
Bonney’s Nika Punch. And the impact?
Bro, Saturn must’ve felt that punch down to his bones. It mirrors Kuma’s punch from the flashback — a beautiful parallel only anime can deliver.
Honestly, this moment hit harder than the manga.
Toei cut Vegapunk’s speech during her transformation, letting the spotlight fall entirely on Bonney — a daughter fighting for her father’s freedom with everything she had left. Throughout the episode, Luffy protects Bonney like a big brother, from her transformation to the final blow – showing how deeply he respects her resolve
The episode was near perfect… but Toei made one mistake: they added Conqueror’s Haki sparks to Bonney’s punch. That wasn’t in the manga.
They also added Drums of Liberation during her transformation. Bonney’s Nika form is a copy, not the real thing — and these additions confused some fans. Still, emotionally?
Bonney’s punch was legendary.
Vegapunk’s Shocking Statement on the World’s Rare Races

Image : Toei Animation
During Vegapunk’s worldwide broadcast, we get a powerful montage — flashes of characters whose existence itself carries centuries of pain and hidden history And Toei handled this sequence beautifully.
First we see Marco, remembering Whitebeard’s words about the Red Line… and how, long ago, the “gods” lived above it. This line hits harder now after everything we’ve learned. Vegapunk lists them:
- Buccaneers — Kuma’s people.
We already know how insanely strong they are, but more than that, their will is unbreakable. All I hope for… is that Kuma survives and stands with Luffy in the Final War. He deserves that moment. - Lunarians — King’s race.
He’s locked away now, but I’m sure he’ll return. A warrior like him… there’s no way he won’t be part of the final clash. And if King exists, there must be more Lunarians out there. - Three-Eyed Tribe — Pudding.
She’s crucial. Her ability to read the Poneglyphs makes her a key piece in the endgame. No wonder Blackbeard snatched her — he knows her value.
And then… the biggest shock. We finally see the first-ever glimpse of Joy Boy himself. It’s chilling and exciting at the same time. And Oda, the absolute foreshadowing demon, sneaks in another detail —
the cross mark on Emeth’s hand, just like the Alabasta friendship marks on the Straw Hats.
Nothing Oda does is accidental. – But the moment that truly broke everyone…
Kuma’s smile.
📢 Let’s Talk!
In the next episode, we’re finally going to witness one of the most insane moments in One Piece — JoyBoy’s true Supreme Conqueror’s Haki.
The kind of haki that doesn’t just overpower enemies… it silences the entire battlefield.
This episode will show how JoyBoy’s haki crushes the Marines and even forces the Five Elders to retreat back to Mary Geoise And the biggest shock of all— Imu… yes, the ruler of the world… forced to his knees.
Bro, the hype is unreal. The next episode is about to rewrite One Piece history.
